Corgi walk with fun games (time permitting) – 20th August 2017
Venue: Abbotsley Golf Hotel, Potton Road, St Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 6XN
Meeting in the Hotel Car Park at 3pm to walk together up to the Jenny Wissen Woods (totally secure) and adjacent playfield for fun games. The woodland is attached to the Golf Course.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet up with all the wonderful corgis and their humans (also wonderful and maybe a little bit bonkers).
The woodland has many routes and the dogs can be let off lead if you wish. In the playfield there will be some agility tunnels and equipment for those who would like to have a go and also we can do some group games.
After the fun and games have finished we can walk back to the hotel and club for either homeward journeys or if you fancy staying a little longer – food and drink is available to purchase at the golf club where doggies are permitted as this is a dog friendly venue & hotel.
Directions
From Cambridge and the M11 take the A428 towards Bedford, after 12 miles turn left onto the B1040 towards Eltisley, after 3 miles turn right onto the B1046, go through Abbotsley village and after another 2 miles turn left onto Potton Road and Abbotsley Golf Hotel is 1200 yards on the left.
From all other directions take the A428 from the A1 towards Cambridge. Turn left at Tesco, right into Cromwell Road and right again into Potton Road at the lights. Fork right after 1 ½ miles and the Abbotsley Golf Hotel is 1200 yards on the left.
